Why Andaman?

The Andaman Islands offer something rare - unspoiled tropical beauty within India. No visa, no forex, no international hassles. Yet the experience rivals any international beach destination. The beaches here consistently rank among Asia's best, the marine life is spectacular, and the islands retain an untouched, natural charm.

For Bangalore travelers, Andaman is just a short flight away. It's perfect for honeymoons, family beach vacations, adventure trips (scuba diving, snorkeling), and anyone seeking a break from the ordinary.

Practical Tips for Andaman

Book Ferries Early

Government ferries are cheap but fill fast. Private ferries (Makruzz, Green Ocean) offer better comfort. Book 2-3 weeks in advance.

Carry Cash

ATMs are limited on Havelock and Neil. Carry enough cash from Port Blair. Many places don't accept cards.

Respect Marine Life

Don't touch corals or collect shells. Use reef-safe sunscreen. Help preserve this fragile ecosystem.

Network & Internet

Mobile networks are weak on islands. BSNL works best. Don't expect fast internet. Embrace the digital detox!
