ILP needed for restricted areas (Nathula, Tsomgo). Arranged through tour operators or hotels. Carry passport copies.

Best Seasons

March-May for rhododendrons, October-December for clear mountain views. Monsoon brings landslides but lush greenery.

Altitude Care

Gangtok is comfortable but Nathula and Yumthang are high. Stay hydrated. Don't rush to high altitude.
