Sample Itinerary: 6 Days in Kashmir
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar Airport. Transfer to houseboat on Dal Lake. Evening shikara ride on the lake. Watch the sunset over the mountains.
Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing
Visit Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi. Afternoon explore Hazratbal Shrine and old city. Shopping for handicrafts.
Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg (2 hrs). Ride the famous Gondola to Phase 1 and Phase 2. Enjoy the panoramic views. Pony ride through meadows. Return to Srinagar or stay in Gulmarg.
Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam (3 hrs). Visit Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Enjoy pony rides and riverside walks. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam to Sonmarg
Drive to Sonmarg via Srinagar (4-5 hrs). Trek to Thajiwas Glacier (optional). Enjoy the golden meadows. Return to Srinagar.
Day 6: Departure
Morning at leisure or visit floating vegetable market (early morning). Transfer to airport for departure.
Practical Tips for Kashmir
Pack in Layers
Weather can change quickly. Even in summer, evenings are cool. Carry warm clothes for Gulmarg and Sonmarg.

Peak season (May-Jun, Dec) sees heavy rush. Book flights, houseboats, and hotels well in advance.
Try Kashmiri Food
