Europe visa from Bangalore
The Europe visa, explained
Indian passport holders need a short-stay Schengen Type C visa, applied through VFS Global for the embassy of your main destination (usually where you spend the most nights), with in-person biometrics. 2026 note: the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is now live at Schengen borders; ETIAS travel authorisation is expected late 2026 — a separate online step still coming, not yet mandatory — so a Schengen visa remains your one requirement today.

Visa rules change frequently. A tourist visa is granted at the discretion of the consulate — we prepare the strongest possible application, but no agent can guarantee an outcome.
Europe visa, answered
Do Indians need a visa for a Europe tour?
Yes — a short-stay Schengen Type C visa, applied through VFS Global for the embassy of your main destination, with in-person biometrics. We guide you through the documents and the application.
How much does a Schengen visa cost in 2026?
The embassy fee is €90 per adult (about ₹9,000), plus a VFS service charge of roughly ₹1,900–3,100. Children 6–11 pay €45 and under-6 are free. You also need travel insurance with at least €30,000 medical cover.
What are EES and ETIAS, and do they affect my 2026 trip?
EES is the EU's new digital Entry/Exit System, now live — it records your biometrics instead of stamping your passport. ETIAS is a separate online travel authorisation expected late 2026 and still coming, not yet required. For now, your Schengen visa is the one approval you need.
When is the best time to visit Europe?
May to September gives long, warm days with full access to the Swiss high-altitude excursions. April and October are pleasant shoulder months with milder crowds and softer prices.
How long is the flight from Bangalore to Europe?
Most travellers fly one-stop via a Gulf hub like Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi, reaching Paris or Zurich in roughly 11–13 hours of flying time. We arrange the most comfortable, well-timed connections.
