Japan rewards the traveller who plans well — and that is exactly what we do for you
Few journeys feel as complete as Japan. In a single trip you stand beneath Mount Fuji at dawn, glide between cities at 300 km/h on the Shinkansen, lose yourself in a Kyoto bamboo forest, and end the day over ramen in neon-lit Osaka. It is futuristic and deeply traditional at the same time — and for our Bangalore travellers, it has quietly become the dream that finally feels within reach.
Japan is a premium destination and it pays to get the details right — the visa, the rail passes, the hotels near the right stations, the season you travel in. That is where we come in. Since 2015 we have handled the planning so that you simply enjoy the cherry blossoms, the deer at Nara and the view from the ropeway. Tell us your dates on WhatsApp and we will shape an itinerary around them.

Travel tips from our team
- Carry an IC card (Suica/PASMO) or a rail pass — Japan's trains run to the minute
- Keep some yen for small shops and shrines; cards work fine in cities and hotels
- Vegetarian and Jain travellers should plan meals — we flag veg-friendly restaurants
- Your eVISA approval must be shown live on your phone with internet on — not a screenshot
- For cherry blossom or autumn travel, book 2–3 months ahead; fares and hotels climb fast
- Etiquette goes a long way: remove shoes where indicated, keep your voice low on trains, never tip
Japan, answered
Do Indians need a visa for Japan in 2026?
Yes — a tourist visa, with no visa-on-arrival. Since 2025 India is on the JAPAN eVISA system, but Indians apply through an accredited travel agency. We handle the full process for you.
How much does the Japan visa cost now?
The single-entry short-term visa fee is currently about JPY 3,000 (~₹1,700) — the government consular fee only. A rise to JPY 15,000 has been proposed for 2026 but is not yet in force, and agency service charges are separate. We confirm the exact current fee before applying.
When is the best time to visit Japan?
Late March to early April for cherry blossoms, and November for autumn colours, are the most magical. We suggest avoiding the June–July rains and the August–September typhoon-and-heat season.
How long is the flight from Bangalore to Japan?
Air India flies Bengaluru to Tokyo direct in about 8 hours. Many travellers also choose comfortable one-stop routings of 12–16 hours via Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur.
Is Japan suitable for vegetarian travellers from India?
Yes, with a little planning. Cities have plenty of vegetarian, Indian and Jain-friendly options, and we flag the right restaurants on your itinerary; carrying some familiar snacks for the first day helps too.
