Turkey visa from Bangalore
The Turkey visa, explained
Indians can apply for the Turkey e-Visa only if they hold a valid visa or residence permit from the Schengen area, USA, UK or Ireland (valid on the date you enter Türkiye). The e-Visa is single-entry, 30-day, applied at evisa.gov.tr. If you do not hold one of those, you take the standard tourist (sticker) visa through Gateway International, the embassy-authorised centre, in Delhi, Mumbai or Hyderabad, submitted in person. We tell you upfront which route applies.

Turkey visa, answered
Do Indians need a visa for Turkey in 2026?
Yes. If you hold a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence (valid on your entry date), you can get a quick single-entry e-Visa online for a 30-day stay. If not, you apply for a standard sticker visa through Gateway International in Delhi, Mumbai or Hyderabad. We confirm which route fits you.
How much is the Turkey visa for an Indian passport?
The e-Visa fee is about USD 43 (roughly ₹3,600–4,300). The sticker visa works out to around ₹12,300–16,300 per person including embassy and service-centre charges, paid to the authorities and separate from your tour package.
How long is the flight from Bangalore to Turkey?
There are no non-stops, so you fly one-stop via a Gulf hub like Dubai, Doha or Abu Dhabi — roughly 9 to 11 hours of total travel to Istanbul.
When is the best time to visit Turkey?
April–May and September–October give the most comfortable weather and beautiful light. Balloons fly year-round when conditions allow; summer is hot and busy, and winter brings quiet, sometimes snowy Cappadocia.
Is Turkey good for a family or honeymoon trip from India?
Both, very much so. Cave hotels and sunrise balloons are dreamy for honeymooners, while easy halal and vegetarian food, gentle sightseeing and short internal flights make it smooth for families with kids and elders.
